To my daughter Leonora without whose never-failing sympathy and encouragement this book would have been finished in half the time.

A warm welcome to LPS publishing.
I was the founder and leader (2013-22) of the British political party Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them). In April 2022 the party’s name was changed to the Children & Family Party, and I’ve continued as party leader to this day.
My book Profitable Buying Strategies was published by Kogan Page in 2008. I’ve had a strong interest in self-publishing since then, and have since written and self-published nine more titles. I wrote a book about the subject in 2010, The Joy of Self-Publishing. In more recent years I’ve been publishing other writers’ books, too.
A passage from the Introduction of The Joy of Self-Publishing:
This book will tell you all you need to know about self-publishing without resorting to vanity publishers. All that’s required from you is the ability to write well on topics that the book buying public will find interesting. How difficult can that be?
If you already self-publish, or plan to do so, you’re in good historical company. At one time or another so did Percy Bysshe Shelley, Horace Walpole, Honoré de Balzac, Walt Whitman, Virginia Woolf, Gertrude Stein, John Galsworthy, Rudyard Kipling, Beatrix Potter, Lord Byron, Thomas Paine, Mark Twain, Upton Sinclair, WH Davies, Zane Grey, Ezra Pound, DH Lawrence, William Carlos Williams, Alexander Pope, Robbie Burns, James Joyce, Anaïs Nin, Lawrence Stern, and William Blake. Blake even mixed his own inks. I’m not going to suggest you go that far.
I mustn’t forget to include the writer who started off by self-publishing and who doubtless deems himself fortunate in having his travelogues in book stores next to my Two Men in a Car, which no doubt helps increase the sales of his books: Bill Bryson.
We’ve published 15 books to date, and we’re planning to publish many more. If you want your book published, whether it’s non-fiction or fiction, you’ve come to the right place. We’ll publish your book in any edition(s) you want – paperback, hardback, ebook. We offer an expert service at an affordable price.
Please contact me (firstname.lastname@example.org, 07967 026163) for an initial exchange on your project. I look forward to working with you.
Finally, I run a number of other websites:
– Laughing at Feminists – feminists are laughable, ridiculous and ludicrous, so we laugh at them, ridicule them, and ludicrize them;
– Campaign for Merit in Business – the only campaign in the world (to the best of my knowledge) challenging initiatives to increase the proportion of women on corporate boards. Overwhelming evidence from longitudinal studies proves the existence of a causal link between appointing more women to boards, and corporate financial DECLINE. Some of that evidence is here.
